Dog recipes, table food?

Dog food, diet, table food, what is the best?

In this part of my blog I will share what I found to help you feed your doggy healthy, diversity, and super easy to follow. Like human, dogs are also subject to malnutrition, obesity and all kind of issue that is related to the food they eat. Sometime we think,  “it’s expensive food, it must be good, all the advertising said healthy, low fat, no grain etc..” Where do we go from there? Like human, everything have a balance everybody have a different metabolism and digest ingredients differently.

For dogs there is some food DO NOT GIVE TO DOG this is very important to read.

I will had things in my blog for helping you guiding your furry animal to stay the most healthy possible and have variety and suggestions of meal for your dog.

First, if you want to make you dog an homemade meal, the common mistakes people make it forget to add calcium. You must add calcium in your dogs diet. Adult dogs need around 800 to 1,000 mg of calcium per pound of food. The best way I had calcium to my dog food it’s by egg shells.
The more meat diet food, the more calcium will be required to reach the correct calcium:phosphorus ratio. The meat you cook don’t have the bone so it’s why you need extra calcium in you dogs diet.
I do ground eggshell  as a calcium supplement. You can rinse eggshells and dry them on a counter or in the oven, then grind them. One large eggshell provides one teaspoon of ground eggshell, which contains 2,000 mg of calcium, so add ½ teaspoon ground eggshell per pound of food fed. Do not  use the eggshells that haven’t been ground to powder, they may not be absorbed well.
You can also use other types of calcium supplements over the counter and powdered it on top of the food.

Why feeding homemade food?

Variety  I believe dog have taste and love variety as much as human does. A homemade meal include a variety of different foods witch is better to feed many different types of meat (beef, lamb, pork, chicken, turkey, fish, etc.), as well as other foods, such as organs, eggs, yogurt, and healthy ingredients.
